Surf's Up

Alex has been in need of a haircut now for, oh, the last 2 months.  It is mid-May, and the last time he got his haircut was at Christmas time when we were in Indiana visiting the cousins and I took him to a BoRick's.  I've been telling him for WEEKS that I need to cut his hair, but each time he has protested and said "NO!  We need to go to BoRick's!"  Hahahaha.  Well, today, I bribed him with my phone and the iPad and went to work.

I've been trying to come up with the perfect nickname for him with his hair so long and crazy and today it just came to me -- Surfer Dude.  You know, because he was looking like a young Ross Lynch from Teen Beach Movie.  Hahahaha.  After cutting his hair and giving him a bath, the first clean shirt I came across was one from last summer, captioned with the phrase Sun and Surf.  Consequently he's gone from being called Surfer Dude to Sun and Surf all in the course of the day!  Hahaha.  I know, I know.  It's not THAT funny.  But it's really late and I'm really tired, and I really HAVE been getting a kick out of calling him Sun and Surf all evening long.  So goodnight and enjoy the before and after!
