The evening continued to unfurl in pleasant tones when Ethan completely saved the day by not only making dinner while I played photographer, but also coming up with the idea of what to eat, too. We had bean bowls in case you were wondering. So he opened a couple cans of black beans, chopped up some lettuce and other salad ingredients, shredded cheese, got out the sour cream, and then SET THE TABLE. Serious brownie points earned over there! Hahaha.

The night was then capped off with one more awesomely unusual activity when Grace took the initiative to clean the downstairs bathroom to get ready for our company coming over tomorrow, and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked to see that she actually did a very adequate job! Granted she was doing it as a money chore, but hey -- I'll pay ANYBODY two bucks to clean a bathroom. Hahahaha.

Now the only pressing thing left on my list is to finally finish Sophie's baptism quilt! I've only got the binding left, so fingers crossed I can finish it up tonight...

Just too hard to pick a favorite! She is dazzling and adorable. Wish I could be there for the blessed day.
so so beautiful! and i love that the other kids were helping out.
What a great day for both of you. And I love her white dress! I may get a new dress for myself for scarlett's baptism, as a sign of solidarity of course.
