Wax Museum

 Albert Einstein

Ah yes.  The Wax Museum!  I almost forgot to put these pictures up.  :)  The sixth grade Wax Museum took place last week in the school Auditeria, and Ethan was so happy that Scott got back from his trip in time to check it out, too.  Meanwhile, I was very happy that Ethan was satisfied with all the costuming and props I found at Party City.  It was a bit of a makeshift outfit -- because believe it or not, they don't make an Albert Einstein costume {hahahaha} -- but I procured the requested wig, white lab coat, and mustache, and he seemed to find it satisfactory enough!

Each of the sixth graders had a white, square sticker on their hand that was supposed to be their "button."  Whenever anyone pressed the button, they were supposed to come to life and give their little biographical spiel.  It was fantastic.  There were some REALLY great costumes and Courageous People being displayed {that was the theme}.  I felt like it would probably be a little weird and creepy to take pictures of a bunch of kids who weren't mine, but I really wish I would have for the extra-ordinary characters that were on display!  Hahaha.

{The wig was a "granny wig" that he tried to spray paint white and then gave a haircut to.  Hahaha.  The mustache was actually one of the eyebrows in the kit I bought, but the scale of it worked better than the real one.  All in all, I think he mostly looked the part.  :)  }

All in all, it was an awesome little production, and I can't wait to see what Courageous character Grace will choose when she's in the sixth grade.  :)

This is such a cool idea! Ethan looks awesome. And great sourcing on your part. ;) Will this be his Halloween costume as well? Perfect timing.

Just seeing this...My first thought looking at the first picture was that it looked like Beau. Isn't that interesting?

So many fun things going on around your place. Wish I were there to see it
