Love Notes

I'm tired!  It's been a LONG week.  Scott left on Sunday evening for a recruiting trip to BYU and is finally on his way home right now!  He was supposed to fly in tomorrow, but he managed to change his flight to tonight and we're all ecstatic.  Especially Ethan {and ME, of course}.  The 6th graders are holding a "Wax Museum" tomorrow afternoon and Ethan was really upset that Scott was going to miss his presentation as Albert Einstein {I know you can't wait to see pictures}, so all is now well!

We mostly made it through the week in one piece, but everything started to unravel this evening when Ethan and Grace started going at it again, and culminated in me having to lock Grace out of the house on two separate occasions because she was spiraling out of control.  So that was fun.  And then there was the ever-present battle of the bedtimes, where it took probably an hour just to get Alex and Jane down in the midst of all the insanity, and the hits kept coming once Grace was back inside and threw a tantrum for another 40 minutes are so while demanding chocolate and a later bedtime. 

So, rather than recap our Conference weekend -- which is what I was PLANNING on doing tonight -- I'm going to have to go the easy route and post these darling little pictures of the love note Jane made for me last night at bedtime.  It's kind of really sweet, actually, because she makes stuff like this for me ALL the time.  And on a night like tonight, it's good to have reminders that some of my children love me.  :)
