It's not even an exaggeration to say that being with my Youth for the 40 minutes we met each Sunday for class was one of the highlights of my week. And to my surprise and delight, they felt the same way, too! On the night before we left, they presented me with an amazingly thoughtful and personalized going away present that literally brought tears to my eyes. "Words of Affirmation" are my actual love language, but super thoughtful gifts that incorporate those Words and MORE, are pretty much the best thing ever.
Thank you...For all the laughs and fun!
Entirely on their own, the kids in my class chipped in to get me an Amazon gift card (because they know I love to read), and in addition to a photo album with pictures of our class, EACH youth wrote out a personalized, detailed, and extremely thoughtful Thank You card for my service as their teacher. It pretty much made my whole life. ;)
Thank you...for the amazing memories (and ice cream).
Thank you...For spending time with just us girls :)

And THANK YOU...For being the BEST S.S. teacher!
I have been so blessed to be their teacher and to see the light and goodness that shines out from each and every one of them! I'm going to miss them so much.
{In a similar vein -- I was surprised and delighted today to receive this gift basket and Thank You card from Scott's new team at work. It's like they knew EXACTLY what to say! It was such a detailed and thoughtful card, validating all I've done behind the scenes and on the home front to enable Scott to succeed and get off to a good start here with this promotion. It was the best possible thing I could have received today, as I have been grumbling about all day, super aggravated with kids who are being less than helpful while I'm still trying to unpack, settle in, and get other projects done around the house. It legitimately changed my whole mindset for the rest of the day! And all the goodies in the basket were just the icing on the cake to a lovely gift and gesture.}

Whoa those are some amazing kids. The foresight and planning and prep that went into that book speaks volumes about them. And I love that you had a good experience having one of your own kids in the class. That gives me hope that could happen to me one day because I don't know if that would be a good thing right now!
Pretty flowers too!
I'm so glad when good things happen to you. You are always involved in giving to and loving others. I'm happy they got to experience you.
I'm extra thrilled Scott's work recognized your efforts! You are the glue
Ps-your new counter tops look stunning.
