Painting Party

Well, apparently I promised Grace that once she got back from Girls Camp we'd look into paint options for revamping her room.  And since there was no way I was going to wiggle out of this one, I took all three girls with me to Sherwin Williams this afternoon to choose some paint chips and then mixed up some samples at The Home Depot before coming home and painting some swatches on the wall.

In the running for Grace's room -- Pickle, Charming Pink, and Dahlia

And since we've been promising Alex that we'd get rid of the pink in their room now that he's rooming with Sophie and Jane, we just had to grab some samples for them as well.   Everyone had a REALLY fun time painting their splotches, and now I just have to convince them to "live" with the colors for a few days before they make their final choices and commit.  If I'm lucky, I'll be able to put it off until after we're back from our road trip in a month.   ;)

The options for Alex, Jane, and Sophie's room include Hyacinth Tint, Free Spirit, Radiant Lilac, Balmy, Aqua-sphere, and Peacock Plume 

It should be interesting to see what everyone settles on...  :)
