Spring Break Day 5:
Limiting electronics has necessitated a search for alternate entertainment around these parts. So, in the past couple of weeks, we've increased our game stash by a LOT. In case anyone is looking for ideas, the biggest hits have been Sequence for Kids, Party Pack Tenzi, and King of Tokyo. :)
Some friends had us over for a "big kid" game night earlier this week, and introduced us to the last one -- King of Tokyo. It was such a hit, that Ethan immediately began begging me to buy it for us as well. I obliged, and it has kept the older ones occupied for the last 3 days. Even Grace likes playing it, and she's the only kid in the family who ISN'T into board games. The game is a bit complicated to explain, but its almost like a video game in board game format.
Thankfully, the games were enough to keep the kids mostly happy and well-behaved today on our last spring break day which was rainy once again. However, I think I can safely say that we're all looking forward to Monday. Hahahaha. :)
