If there's one thing to know about Grace, it's that she LOVES a good hands-on mess. Always has and probably always will. And this glue-y, slimy gunk was right up her alley. I had to laugh when, while happily paper-mache-ing away, she declared a couple times how the activity was "giving her a purpose." Hahaha.

My stability ball is being re-purposed for this project.
She slathered it all over with Aquafor first, in the hopes that it will make it easier to remove the bowl when it's done. We shall see.
Ta da! Now we wait for it to dry and then do another layer or two after I get some more flour to make the glue. :) Stay tuned for the rest of the unfolding of this Halloween-y project...
To close with another project in the making, I think we've convinced Jane what HER costume should be. Shes says she's on-board...so long as she can carry around a hula hoop to be her circle of sadness. Hahahahahaha. I would LOVE to see this actually come to pass. :)
{I had to include a parting shot of my Emotions Girl, working on her homework at bedtime tonight, ON HER OWN! Woo hoo!! If she only would have fallen right asleep afterwards, my night would have been made.}

That Gracie girl is determined. I would take one look at the steps involved in making that costume and resolve to be a cat yet again.
