With all 6 kids in tow, we headed down to my favorite trail, and after a minor {major} setback of realizing my camera battery was almost dead, we banged out 4 photo shoots like a boss! Thrifting at Goodwill afterwards opened up a can of chaos amongst the crew -- 3 out of 6 kids wanted to get bikes, even though I had told them we didn't even have room for one, thanks to the stroller in the trunk plus all the seats filled with children -- and only Alex and Jane were successful in finding stuff for costumes. The Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru next door for dinner appeased the masses {enough}, and we headed on home to scavenge for some more dinner, read Book of Mormon, and get the little ones in bed before everyone started melting down even more. With Scott at an award thing-y at work tonight, I was on my own to get everyone settled in, and I'm pretty sure I'm due for my own award thing-y coming up not soon enough. ;) Hahahaha. Thankfully, the little ones went down without TOO much of a fight, and all six of them are in bed now for the night. Uploading and editing all the pictures will take a bit of time, so to start, I thought I'd go with the one who's birthday was the longest ago -- February 7th, to be exact.
Operation Birthday Photo Shoot 2016: Part One (of Six) is coming at you now...

Bam! First shot out of the gate! She's a pro. ;)

Her attempt at Blue Steel.

Sophie Lynn -- 9 3/4 years old.

She loves singing, dancing, and acting. Perhaps an MDT major is in her future? {That's Music, Dance, Theater at BYU for those not in the know.} Hahahaha.

She may be pint-sized, but she certainly knows how to pack a punch!

Like Rapunzel, she likes to brush and brush and brush and brush her hair.

She created every single one of these "signature poses" for this photo shoot.

I was starting to wonder if she'd been studying fashion magazines for modeling tips before we left. :)

Words of Affirmation and Quality Time are her love languages. Just like me. ;)

She is smart, sassy, and sweet -- all at the same time.

Our world would be a different place without her in it. Long live the supermuppet!!! Hahaha. :)

MDT all the way!!!! hahahahah
She would fit in perfectly.
love this spunky beautiful girl.
Oh I TOTALLY picked up on the MDT reference. I see many years of reciting monologues to herself in the HFAC. Maybe she can figure out the maze which is the basement of that building, because I sure as heck never did.
She always dresses so well. Very impressed. Btw, I've worn sweats for the past 6 weeks.
