While they were here, we did our best to show them our favorite spots in town {like Paradise Ice, obvis}, and to soak up every second we had to hang out. The only real damper to the weekend was the continued middle-of-the-night awakenings from Alex and Jane. DOH! Other than that, though, it was non-stop fun. Eleanor and Penelope are such creative little girls and all my kids had fun playing with them. The older ones, in particular, also got the biggest kick out of Molly {or the Molly-pop, as we all kept calling her}, and kept tagging along after her and trying to play with her, too. As for us grown-ups, we had plenty of fun ourselves while visiting, and watching movies, and catching up on life in general. It really is too bad that we all live so far away. :( Perhaps one of these days we'll just have to build a huge family compound for all of us to live on, so we can all be together at last! Hahahaha. J/K. Compounds are creepy. Hahahaha. Enjoy the following picture-logue of our weekend...
Rainbow Twins!
All 8 kids!
Throwing rocks in the river NEVER gets old!! {And could it BE anymore gorgeous???}
Kids in a candy store. :)
Sisters, sisters! One final parting shot of the two of us on Monday morning when they left. And YES. This is the ONLY picture we took of the two of us together. Next time we'll make it a top priority to get a picture when we're actually dressed and made up for the day. :)
And that's a wrap. Now that the cousins are gone, we are getting ready for back to school in earnest! Only TWO MORE DAYS!!!!! {Hahahahaha.}
