SOMEONE has finally filled out her sleep chart!!! It only took a few months, but Jane finally finished. :) And I have to say {fingers crossed that I don't jinx things}, she has done really well over the last couple of weeks at not waking up in the middle of the night and trying to come in our bed, or needing us to go and snuggle with her in HER bed. Of course, she still wakes up for the day WAY earlier than I would like {as in before 6 most mornings}, but as long as she's not waking in the night, I'll take it! Hahaha.
As a special reward for filling out her sleep chart, I took her to Meijer to let her pick out a prize. After wandering up and down {and up and down and up and down} the toy aisles FOREVER, we finally determined that she'd much rather get some art supplies for all her crafting than any of the toys or games. After MUCH deliberating and hemming and hawing over all the options in the Crayola aisle, she settled on the perfect choices -- a Pipsqueaks marker tower along with a giant coloring book featuring Hello Kitty.
She was so excited to get home and start coloring. And the enthusiasm hasn't waned! It's been a couple of days now, and I'm happy to say that she is really taking care of her new stuff. Which is pretty epic, in and of itself. Haha. In addition, she has also decided to elevate her artist's game, and has started a new binder to hold all her work. How adorable is that??
Now that we're starting to get her sleeping issues under control, we'll see what we can do about her staying-on-task issues in the morning... :)
