Anyway, this weekend, I was FINALLY struck with some inspiration for a quilt for baby Isaac. I decided to go with all solid colors and an isoscoceles triangle pattern and I'm kind of excited with how different it is from other quilts I've made. I was able to use fabric I already had, and after picking up a triangle template at Joann's this afternoon, I went straight to work cutting out all those triangles and putting them up on my design board.
L-R: (Kona solids) Tangerine, Corn Yellow, Peridot, Nightfall, ?, Coal, Ash, Bone
Now it's time to start sewing!
While I was sketching out the pattern this weekend, Alex got in on the action as well, and started designing his baptism quilt. Hahahahaha. Apparently, he's really into the abstract. :) Now if only I'll be able to duplicate it in 4 more years...

And finally, I hit 37 weeks yesterday and I'm officially ready for this baby to come any day now. Although, it would probably be best to get through this week first, because there's a LOT going on on the calendar. Not to mention, I have a quilt to finish...

Jane's baptism quilt is next! has she mentioned any ideas?
Your quilt making just amazes me. They are always so beautiful. Here's to hoping that baby comes sooner rather than later. It gets so painful to move at the end (at least for me). You are looking great!
That quilt is amazing! Good luck getting it together as your family grows =)
Wow you make quilting look so easy. You have so many talents.
