Halloween 2018

I am totally phoning it in this Halloween, y'all.  It's been a gloomy, rainy, and chilly day and all I want to do is hibernate.  Hahaha.  J/K.  Kind of.  I think I'd be in a better state of mind for celebrating the day if I weren't so exhausted, but Isaac is a full blown sleep terrorist these days, and I was awake almost all night long with him as he screeched and thrashed and took over our bed.

All this to say -- it's barely 8 o'clock, I'm laying on the couch watching Bob Ross paint while blogging, and the younger three are basically in bed.  I have grand plans to go to bed, myself, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet.  :)  Enjoy a photo essay of our Halloween Night...

Grace finished painting Jane's costume last night.

 (Sophie is a deer.)

Isaac kept making the goofiest poses.

(Alex dusted off the astronaut costume from last year.)

Off they went with Scott in the rain.

Meanwhile, poor Ethan was stuck at home with hours of homework to complete.

And Grace was with her friends.

Isaac finished up the trick-or-treating extra early.

But he was plenty pleased with his loot, anyway.

And that's a wrap!  It's been a pretty low key holiday, and I'm totally okay with that.  ;)

Earlier in the day -- before it started to rain -- Isaac convinced me to go for a walk to find 4 leaves.

I'd say we found a beautiful sampling.  :)
