Meet & Greet

This little lump of sugar got to go to his preschool today to check out his classroom and meet his teachers!  Even though he was bashful at first, he gradually warmed up to the classroom (and the toys) and REALLY loved the playground.  My baby is growing up!

Although while he may be growing up, he still likes to give us a run for our money!  Hahaha.  Especially when it comes to sleeping.  Ever since we got back from our road trip, Isaac has been climbing out of his crib.  Whenever I put him down for nap or bedtime, he immediately climbs out and ends up camped on the ground in front of the door, banging and crying until eventually, he falls asleep.  And since he can't seem to fall asleep at night until he's been awake from his nap for at least 6 or 7 hours, he is usually the last kid standing.  As of right now -- at almost 10 o'clock at night -- I still hear him upstairs banging at the door every so often, even though I put him down about 20 minutes ago.  That kid!  Hahaha.  It's a good thing I love pretty much everything about him because he sure has exhausted me in his short 22 months of life.  Needless to say, I'm looking forward to my two-day-a-week Parent's Day Out starting next Tuesday.  ;)

I still think of him as your new baby, and here he's almost 2! Such a cute kid. Yay for mom-alone time coming your way.
