Pajama Day

More like pajama WEEK!  {At least for me.  Hahaha.}  Scott left for China on Sunday morning and just got back this afternoon.  With freezing temperatures outside and not wanting to go out, I've spent the last few days cozy at home, chillin' in my jammies.  Meanwhile, Alex was super stoked for today's actual Pajama Day at school and rocked his cozy Mario jammies while taking Elephant along with him.  It was a good day all around.

Especially because the most magical of all things happened to me this morning -- in pajamas, while it was FREEZING outside, nonetheless.  Kroger Click List has now come to our store!!!!  What is this, you ask?  What does that even mean, you'd like to know?  Well, let me tell you.  Basically, my entire life has just been revolutionized.  Two days ago, I placed my grocery order online and reserved a pick-up time for this morning.  At 9 AM today, we headed to Kroger, where I drove to the designated spot, waited in my car, and swiped my card while my groceries were loaded in the trunk for me.  I didn't have to load kids in and out of the car, or try to get my shopping done with Alex wanting to put everything he sees in the buggy and Isaac trying to climb OUT of the buggy at every turn, and I didn't even have to get dressed for the day!!!  Winning!!! {DUH.}  Hahaha.  It was amazing.  I think Alex thought so, too.  ;)

 17 degrees out there.  Yikes!

And that was that!  It was a good day.  Scott is home, the house is stocked with groceries, and Ethan agreed to go on a "date" with me tonight to get his haircut.  Which was WAY overdue.  As in, I think his last haircut was back in August for back-to-school.  I sweet talked him into eating at Panera with me after his locks were shorn, and then my real coup was in persuading him to stop at Meijer on the way home to do a little Secret Santa shopping and stock up on all the candy and goodies we'll need for the gingerbread houses we'll be decorating at our Ornament Exchange party tomorrow afternoon.   I doubt he'd willingly admit it, but I'm pretty sure he had a great time with me.  :)

Nothing says fun like Meijer on a Friday night.

Also, this is what our house constantly looks like these days.  Isaac can climb on the stools -- and by extension, the counter tops -- now, too.  Doh!  That little monkey!!!  Hahaha.

And that's a wrap!  Happy Friday everyone -- only 9 more days until Christmas!!!
