{This little area is affectionately called "The Coat Graveyard." The coats and backpacks are pretty much NEVER hung up on the hooks where they belong. I was too embarrassed to snap a picture of the REAL messes around the house, so I chose this mild mess as a representative instead.}
Over the course of the last year, we've been trying to internalize the values outlined in the Family Proclamation and we've almost covered them all! Work is the second to last principle -- and arguably the one that we need to work on (hahaha) the most in our family -- and it has certainly been slow to take root. We've only got a week and a half left in the month, so here's to hoping we can whip some shape into our chore routine and instill a better work ethic in all of us!!
{For Scripture Time this month, we're using 2 Nephi 5:17 -- And it came to pass that I, Nephi, did cause my people to be industrious, and to labor with their hands. -- and singing the hymn "Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel."}

I think the thing I most admire about you is the planning and continued effort to teach your family, even when it's hard.
and we just got our ites book in the mail. Thanks for the tip.
I agree with Heidi. The fact that you have a scripture that you are working on is huge. Way to go! You are doing it right.
