Family Fun [and I {heart} BYU]

Fun followed us on Thursday as we headed over to campus for a little bowling at the Games Center.  Ethan in particular was excited about this outing and I was even more excited to be in such close proximity to the BYU Bookstore -- pretty much one of my most favorite places on earth.  Kristin's family was with us and when Laura (aka Muffy) joined up with us everything jumped up a couple of notches on the fun-o-meter.

 Anxiously checking the score.

 Grace isn't pictured here, but apparently she made a miracle comeback and ended up winning the game.

I keep telling her she looks like a sea witch and we need to brush her hair, but she just won't listen.

Jane and Muffy

After playing with the kiddies for a bit, me and Muffy slipped off to browse the Bookstore and catch up on life.  Laura followed us up to Scott's parents house afterwards and stayed to play once Kristin and her family left for Logan.  The fun continued when Emily and Pearce came down from Salt Lake as well, and once Freddie got off work and came up to visit, it was almost a full-blown family reunion!  Me and Emily made an {unsuccessful} run to a favorite quilting store, Laura brought her make-up to play with for the girlies, and while Scott and Ethan went to a BYU basketball game, I got to visit with my siblings and have lots of fun!

One of my other Christmas projects in the works this season was a baby quilt for Emily's little bundle of joy who will be here in just a few weeks!

{Don't worry -- I will post more pictures of the quilt later.  Hahaha.}

Makeover time!

Here is Sophie minutes before complaining that her lips were burning from the Lip Plumper Muffy put on her.  Hahaha.

Alex and Uncle DoDo!

Chillin' with the girlie bugs!

And that was our Thursday.  On the horizon was a trip up to Salt Lake City to visit Emily and her family and to see the sights.  Stay tuned.
