I tried snapping a picture of the birthday girl before we left for school, but she was not really in the mood. And that's an understatement. Thankfully, she was much happier when she got home this afternoon and let me snap away! :)
We finished the evening off at Chick-Fil-A for Sophie's requested birthday dinner.
Since she's turning 12, she gets a friend party this year, and tomorrow night is the big bash! {Although, in full transparency, it's not all that big. And this year, once again, I feel like it's snuck up on me and caught me unprepared.} The plan for tomorrow night is an escape room adventure with a few of her good friends. After that, we'll head back to the house for some cake, presents, and more fun! :) Wish me luck for tomorrow -- I've got to try and figure out how to execute a "Periodic Table of Elements" themed cake while also trying to get the house cleaned up and ready for a party. ;)
Sophie had a presentation yesterday in GT for some project where they had to represent an inanimate object. I think? I know for sure she had to create a disco ball costume and this is what she came up with. :)
Two umbrellas -- spray painted silver and covered with foil squares.
Hahahaha.

Happy Birthday sophalicious! The creativity never disappoints ~ the 2 umbrellas was brilliant !
Cutie Sophie! I forget that she wears glasses. And love her disco ball but TBH that's a pretty ridiculous assignment ;)
That was amazing!!!
