Goth Girl

Grace has been REALLY into playing with make-up lately. This evening, while I was trying to get the kids to hurry and eat dinner so we could go to Orange Leaf for a school fundraiser, I realized Grace and Jane had disappeared upstairs, and I vaguely remembered hearing Grace say something about how good Jane would look as a goth girl.  The resulting look spawned the two funniest overheard conversations of the day.

Convo #1  GRACE:   Jane has to wear this to Orange Leaf.

                  SOPHIE:  She can't wear that out in public -- people will be judging mom's parenting skills!

Convo #2   JANE:  ...yeah, but I can't wear this to school tomorrow.

                  GRACE:  You could {PAUSE}, but they might be silently judging you.
