Hands down, my favorite day of the preschool year is the Mother's Day Program & Tea. While Mother's Day itself is not always my fave, I love everything about this little program from start to finish. ESPECIALLY the hats. :) I may or may not have gotten a little teary-eyed watching the cute little kiddies sing so joyfully to all their moms. As cliche as it sounds -- they really do grow up SO fast.
Hands ALWAYS in the pockets. :)
This was the last Mother's Day program I'll attend here at this preschool and I have to say it makes me pretty sad. By the time Isaac is old enough to go there, we will most likely have moved on to somewhere new. I just hope where ever that is has a school I love as much as THIS one.
{He actually SANG this year! Last year he refused even to stand with his class and was the only kid missing from the video montage of everyone saying what they loved most about their moms.}
After the singing and video was over, each kid brought a flower to their mom and then it was time for some cookies and lemonade. Before leaving, we stopped by Alex's cubby to get his present for me, and as an added bonus, I got to see a questionnaire that he filled out about ME. :) It's always hilarious to see what children "know" about their parents.
{I really love it when my mom: cooks me food
My mom always tells me: to clean my room
The best thing she does is: drive the car
It makes her happy when: I clean my room
My mom loves to relax by: taking a nap
I like it when she: plants flowers in the mulch
The best thing she cooks is: pizza
When my mom shops, she likes to buy: milk
My mom's favorite household chore is: clean the family room
My mom's favorite TV show is: not anything, but maybe Cupcake Wars
If she could go on a trip, she would go: to Florida
I love my mom because: she is nice}
Oh Alex -- I love you to pieces, too... :)

I love those answers. You like to buy milk and you're good at driving the car haha But he got the Florida part right!
