The first, first? Well, after 36 years I decided it was finally time to attempt to learn how to drive a stick shift. I figured it would be useful if I were able to drive Scott's car should I ever need to. Hahaha. So, after putting the younger three in bed last Thursday night, we left the older three in charge while we drove to a school parking lot up the street for me to try and learn some skillz. And you know what? I wasn't a total failure!! Hahahaha. So that's reassuring. Sure, I stalled out a few times, but I did better than I was expecting, and I believe Scott was pleasantly surprised as well. :) Of course, I will need a LOT more practice before I'm ready to go out on the open road, but I don't think I'm a lost cause.
Before the lesson...
...and after.
"What the heck is this? Never mind, I don't care -- just keep it coming!"
Seconds before a face plant.
And that's a wrap. I've been under the weather, so I'm going to take advantage of all the kids being in bed by going to sleep early myself. Stay tuned for more catching up...

I read all of your great words but once I read that Isaac slept through the night, everything was just a blur. Because that is just the best news ever, and I'm so happy for you. May it continue to happen!
