The thing that I love the most about a thrift store is not so much the fact that it's thrifty -- although, OBVIOUSLY I love to find a steal of a deal. No, the thing that I love above all else with regards to a thrift store is the excitement that comes from the possibility of finding treasure. Because when you walk into a Goodwill, you never know what you're going to find. And the fact that the true treasures are few and far between, make the thrill of the hunt THAT much more exciting. Hahahaha.
Today, however, we hit the jackpot. Not only did we discover that it was 50% off EVERYTHING when we walked through the doors, we also found a gigantic Batman plaything as well as the exact same pirate ship that Alex loves at his Preschool. And all for a grand total of $4.50! I seriously was planning on buying this kind of Batman thing for his Christmas present this year, but now I guess I won't have to. Because as you can see from his face up there, Christmas has indeed come early for the Lover Boy. Hahahaha. :)
Ta Da!
Do you like the way he's stuffed all the action figures in the compartment on the bottom left there?? Hahaha.
